SDCC EXCLUSIVE THUNDERCATS CLASSIC LION-O

Yay my first Thundercats review, so heres the story behind this one: My dearest brother geddy had gone to wildwood over the summer. He picked up some stuff at mikes toy shop. Including a lion o sdcc exclusive for me! It costed $60 and was MIB. . So it was in the box, however i took it out like all my figures. So if you will ignore the background regular show we can begin. The box itself is black with a faded tcats symbol on it. It says thundercats classic at the very top. Under the tcats symbol there is in very unrelated font the words lion-o.

On the top of the box, theres the retro thundercats symbol followed by the word classic, taking up the entire space around the top. I for one love the retro tcats logo. The way they made it shiny and the font is just fantastic
The inside of the box is absolutely horrible. Its ugly and very poorly made. Theres a whole bunch of cardboard and a big plastic mold to keep loin o in. For some reason it reminds me of a bootleg action figure case.
And theres even more of a reason why the box of this figure is abnormal. It has instructions. Yes thats right. It shows you how to put everything in and how to store and display them. They are actually pretty helpful. I would have been clueless about the sword of omens holder without the instructions.

Now to the figure itself. His face is pretty detailed. It has the white kind of eye shadow like bags around his eyes and mouth. He has a blank expression on his face, like all the other lion o toys. He has bright red eyes with abut four lashes on each eye. His hair is blowing to the right and is a somewhat light red color.

The body of this figure is incredibly great. He has the armor on his chest and the one piece singlet on the rest of his body. He has orange and tan skin with a brown line on every muscle dent. His singlet is a certain light blue color with black streaks on the dents and the opening on the abdomen.

His claw shield is highly detailed and has the goldent lines along the dents. It has a very shiny and glossy gold color to it . It has a slightly retro furry design like the vintage figure. There is only four finger holders for some reason. And it has the red gems on the knuckles.

Along the waist is the tcats belt. It has the thundercats symbol on it. It is a very light blue color and has a white outline. It goes around his entire waist. Along the silver lining on the symbol, theres about six golden gems.

His small sword of omens is, well, pretty small. Its about 2 and a half inches. It has a glossy design and is a vibrant silver mattellic color. It has the eye of thundera in the middle. And its red with a golden eye. The base of the blade is double pointed and sticks out.

The large sword of omens is very good and accurate. It has the same glossy metallic luster as the tiny one. Although, both these swords are very bitter sweet. They look cool and cheap at the same time. But anyway. It has the thundercats symbol in the middle and its red with a black cat. The sides are pinted up this time.

The altar of the two swords is good and not good at the same time. Its great for holding the swords and other acccesories but its kind of cheaply made. It has a light purple color with a kind of futuristic design on it.

The way it can hold the two swords is very simple. The wop holders can hold the large sword of omens and the little cup on the middle can hold the little one. And if you keep your items with your figures, you can also put his seperate hands in the middle.
In comparison with the vintage figure, conisdering the vintage figure is horribly ut of scale, the classics figure is a lot bigger. Its about 2 inches bigger and about 47% more detailed.

1. My opinion:I love this figure, like i said earlier, i have a few problems but overall, its very good
2.Accuracy: Very accurate, im not going to be picky and stick to it but in the cartoon he was a little more built, like bigger. But like i said im not stressing over it at all.

Rating: 9/10
